What Is the Right Balance between Private and Commercial Telecommunications for Application Deployment?

This session considers the relationship between utility owned and operated telecommunications infrastructure and the use of commercial services. The European Commission under DGCONNECT has commissioned a project ENERGISE to try to build a tool to help in these decisions. An update as the project nears conclusion will be presented. A utility and vendor perspective will conclude this session providing an insight into the possible solutions being considered.
